What cookies and local storage are
Cookies are small text files stored on a device by a website. Local storage is a related browser technology that lets a website remember a limited value on that device. Both may fall within UK rules on storing information or accessing information on a user’s device.
What this website uses
The public website uses one local-storage item named youpro-theme-choice. It records whether you selected light or dark mode and an expiry time. It does not contain your name, contact details, account information or advertising identifier.
The item expires after 12 months unless you change or clear it sooner. It is used only to provide the display preference you requested.
Current cookie position
The website does not currently set advertising or analytics cookies. The product-tour video is served with the website rather than embedded from a third-party video platform.
Because the theme value is used to provide a preference explicitly requested by the visitor and is not used for tracking, the website does not currently display a consent banner for it.
How to clear the preference
You can remove the theme value using your browser’s controls for site data or local storage. If you clear it, the website will return to its default appearance until you choose a theme again.
If the website changes
If YouPro introduces non-essential analytics, advertising or similar technologies, this notice and the website controls must be updated before those technologies are used. Consent will be requested where required.
